We Are Bibli: Philippines

We Are Bibli Philippines is an international exchange led by the Canadian non-profit organization We Are Bibli — consisting of a team of executives and over 200 volunteers, We Are Bibli created 30+ pictorial storybooks — and Philippine non-profit organization Likha's Cradle — a youth action movement dedicated to empowering the youth through the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. High school students from the Philippines and Canada come together to exchange stories and educational content. This project not only fosters a love for reading but also bridges cultural gaps, allowing young minds to explore diverse perspectives. By sharing digital books and educational games through our innovative L-Pads, we are not just telling stories; we are building a global community of learners and dreamers. Join us in this transformative journey where every story shared is a step towards a brighter, more connected future.

Welcome to the team! Our mission is to bridge the educational disparity gap by providing young minds in the Philippines with the resources they need to continue a lifelong process of learning. We aim to empower high school students from the Philippines and Calgary to share their unique narratives, enriching each other’s lives and perspectives. This international exchange initiative is double-sided. On one side, high-school Filipinos share their rich cultural narratives to Canadian students. One the other side, the We Are Bibli team provides under-resourced young Filipinos with innovative L-Pads loaded with personally written digital books and educational games. Together, we strive to ignite an international passion for reading and learning, creating a brighter, more connected future for all.
